Sailing Yacht & Catamaran Charter Rhodes

Symi
Symi is the jewel of the Dodecanese. Pastel-coloured neoclassical houses ring the harbour like a natural amphitheatre. The island has a rich history of sponge diving and traditional boat building. As a result, its cobbled lanes, waterfront tavernas and the Panormitis Monastery make every visit truly unforgettable.
Tilos
With its steep mountains, deep caves and crystal-clear coves, Tilos suits nature lovers and history seekers alike. Researchers discovered dwarf elephant bones here dating to 4,000–7,000 BC. Today, the Megalo Chorio museum puts these fossils on display. Furthermore, medieval castles and the Knights’ Castle are well worth a visit.
Chalki
Chalki is a small, peaceful mountainous island just west of Rhodes, well away from mass tourism. If you want genuine Aegean tranquillity, this island is exactly what you need. Its colourful neoclassical houses and compact harbour are charming. In addition, pristine coves make it the perfect quiet anchorage.
Alimia
Alimia is a deserted, uninhabited islet between Halki and Rhodes. The ruins of an Italian WWII submarine base and virgin coves make this one of the most original anchorages on any blue cruise. No permanent residents live here. Consequently, you get pure sea and silence.
Seskilion
Seskilion is a tiny, deserted islet close to Symi. Paths wind through olive groves and hidden coves open onto turquoise water. For those who want complete seclusion and nature, this spot is one of the secret gems of any blue cruise.
Nisyros
Nisyros is the only volcanically active island in the Dodecanese. A hike to the crater rim, the whitewashed village of Mandraki and natural hot springs all make this island truly unique. Moreover, it serves as an excellent intermediate stop for those extending their itinerary towards Kos.

How to Get to Rhodes?
Getting to Rhodes from Turkey is remarkably straightforward. You have options by air or by ferry.
Ferry Fethiye – Rhodes
High-speed catamarans run from Fethiye Harbour directly to Rhodes. During the summer season (April–October), morning departures reach Rhodes Harbour in approximately 90-120 minutes. However, sailings drop to 2-3 per week in winter.

Ferry Marmaris – Rhodes

By Air to Rhodes
Rhodes International Airport (RHO / Diagoras) sits in the southwest of the island, only 14 km from the city centre. As a result, transfer to the marina takes just 20–30 minutes. Direct charter and scheduled flights connect Istanbul, Izmir and Ankara to Rhodes.

FAQ | Yacht Charter Rhodes
The charter season in Rhodes generally runs from late April through to late October.
- Low Season: Consists of May and October. It is ideal for those who want to enjoy the most affordable prices, the fewest crowds and slightly breezier conditions.
- Mid Season: The first half of June and the second half of September offer ideal weather conditions for enjoying the sea and sunshine. Prices are relatively affordable.
- High Season: From mid-June till mid-September, it is considered as high season. Sea conditions are at their warmest and calmest during this time. However, prices reach their highest point.
For crewed charters, you only need a valid passport. Note that authorities in Greece do not accept national ID cards. For bareboat (uncrewed) charters, the required documents depend on vessel size and the operating company. Typically, you need a recognised sailing licence (such as an ICC or RYA certificate) and a sailing experience log. Generally, for gulet and motor yacht charters, security deposit is not required. On the other hand; for catamaran charters, a security deposit is collected at the start of the charter as a precaution. The amount varies by vessel.
With a privaye charter, all cabins on the yacht belong exclusively to your group. As a result, you are free to set your own route.
On the other hand, with a cabin charter (blue cruise), you reserve one specific cabin. Other guests may occupy the remaining cabins and the vessel follows a pre-set programme. Cabin charters offer a more economical option for individuals or couples. Furthermore, they provide a fully organised, sociable experience.
