Route Amalfi (Short)
Amalfi Yacht Charter Itinerary
Italy’s most celebrated stretch of coastline, the Amalfi Coast, is known for its dramatic cliffs, colorful villages and peaceful beaches.
Weekly yacht charter itineraries in the region can generally be divided into “short” and “extended” routes. In this article, we focus on the short version.
This 7-night, relatively compact itinerary (approximately 120 nautical miles) brings together culture, history, gourmet cuisine and the joy of the sea across Naples, Capri, Amalfi and Sorrento.
Day 1: Napoli - Capri (20nm)

Begin your yacht charter journey in Naples. While you are in Naples, we recommend visiting the Royal Palace, Castel dell’Ovo and the famous Spaccanapoli Street.
Don’t leave without trying the world-famous Neapolitan pizza. Afterwards, set course for Ischia. Known for its thermal springs and the impressive Aragonese Castle, the island offers a wonderfully relaxing start to your cruise.
Day 2 & 3: Gün: Capri (20 nm)

Explore the Blue Grotto, world-famous for its otherworldly blue light created by the sun reflecting through an underwater opening.
Continue to Villa San Michele, the cliff-top residence of Swedish physician Axel Munthe, offering breathtaking views over the Bay of Naples.
Nearby, the flamboyant Villa Lysis showcases early-20th-century architecture and the artistic life of its creator, Baron Jacques d’Adelswärd-Fersen.
Finally, wander through the elegant town of Capri, known for its designer boutiques, charming piazzas and timeless Mediterranean glamour.
For dinner, consider Da Paolino, a beloved Capri classic where tables are set beneath fragrant lemon trees—a truly atmospheric island experience.
Day 4: Amalfi (30 nm)

Discover the Roman-era ruins and diving spots of Ventotene Island, a quiet and historically rich destination once used as an imperial retreat.
Afterwards, cruise to Ponza, known for its colorful houses, Frontone Beach, and its network of sea caves that add to the island’s unmistakable charm.
Day 5: Pompei (10 nm)

Stroll through the streets and villas of the ancient city of Pompeii, beautifully preserved under volcanic ash for nearly two millennia.
Afterwards, head up to Mount Vesuvius and enjoy the sweeping views from the volcano that shaped the region’s history.
Day 6: Sorrento (20 nm)

Explore the town of Sorrento on foot, wander through its lemon groves, and enjoy dinner at one of the local trattorias.
Day 7: Ischia & Napoli

On your final day, relax in the thermal gardens of Ischia, enjoying the island’s natural hot springs and serene atmosphere. Afterwards, cruise back to Naples to conclude your journey.
Day 8: Naples

After your final breakfast on board, you may disembark by 09:00 to conclude your blue cruise yacht charter.
We look forward to welcoming you on another route soon… 🙂
