We Completed the Gocek Winter Trophy with 2 Trophies!

The 2026 Göcek Winter Trophy, one of the most prestigious events on the winter sailing calendar organized by the Göcek Yacht Club (GYC), has come to a thrilling conclusion.
Our Beneteau Platu 25, Gururlan and dedicated crew crowned their consistent performance throughout the season with a spot on the podium. We are proud to announce that we finished the trophy 2nd in the Overall Standings!
3 Legs, 9 Planned Races and a Great Challange
This demanding series, which began in January, consisted of three main legs:
- First Leg: January 10 – 11
- Second Leg: February 14 – 15
- Third Leg: March 7 – 8
In the challenging waters of Göcek, where shifting winds and tactical expertise are paramount, every second counted.
Rising to the Top with “Gururlan”
Since bringing our Beneteau Platu 25 racing boat, Gururlan, from Istanbul in October 2025, we have demonstrated how a cohesive team and the right strategies can make a difference on the water.
We are delighted to have lifted the second-place trophy while experiencing the purest form of sport and competition amidst the unique natural beauty of Göcek’s bays.
We would like to extend our gratitude to the Gocek Yacht Club for organizing this wonderful event, as well as to Setur Marina and all our sponsors for their support throughout the process. Our goal now is to carry this success even further in the upcoming races!
