Fethiye Kekova Yacht Charter Itinerary

You may board your yacht in Fethiye starting from 15:00. After the welcome briefing and an introduction to the yacht’s safety procedures and onboard rules, you’ll be ready to cast off.

Dinner and your first overnight stay will take place in one of the nearby bays. Depending on conditions, your captain may choose Samanlık, Boncuklu, or Turunç Pınarı Bay.

Fethiye is a natural harbor city known for its stunning landscapes and ancient Lycian heritage. It is also close to Oludeniz, widely regarded as Turkey’s most beautiful beach.

The turquoise waters of Fethiye, where blue and green blend in perfect harmony, shine like exquisite Turkish ceramic work. The most captivating shades can be seen at sunset, especially over the waters of Oludeniz.

Located near Ölüdeniz, the island is home to several churches built between the 4th and 6th centuries AD. It is believed to be the original burial place of Saint Nicholas (Santa Claus).

The island’s original name “Gemile” derives from the Greek word for “camel,” inspired by its distinctive shape.

Many daily boat tour routes include Gemile Island. Thus, it can be crowded and noisy during the day. However, once the day boats leave, it becomes a perfect overnight anchorage for private yachts.

We highly recommend hiking up to the top of the island to enjoy the sunset views. It’ll be unforgettable!

To pass the Seven Capes comfortably, you’ll set off in the early morning. After enjoying breakfast and a refreshing swim stop in Yeşilköy Bay, you will continue cruising toward Kaş.

Here, you’ll have time to stroll through this ancient Greek town and experience its lively nightlife. Once an important Lycian city, Kaş grew in significance during the Roman era and even became a bishopric. Today, the region is rich in ancient ruins and historical sites waiting to be explored.

Dinner and overnight stay will be in Kaş Harbor or the nearby Liman Ağzı Bay.

After breakfast service on board, you’ll cruise toward the sunken city of Kekova. Today, we cruise slowly over the Kekova Sunken City; a 2,000-year-old Lycian settlement submerged by ancient earthquakes. Although swimming and diving are prohibited in this protected area, the crystal-clear waters reveal impressive ruins that can be admired even from the deck. Here, you can enjoy lunch surrounded by the area’s unique historical landscape.

For dinner and an overnight stay, anchoring in Üçağız Bay is an excellent choice.

After breakfast, your next stop will be Kaleköy (Simena), where you’ll have the chance to capture the enchanting landscapes of ancient Lycia.

If you wish, you can also tour Simena Castle for even more striking views. Although located on the mainland, Kaleköy has no road access, giving it a uniquely secluded atmosphere. You’ll have free time to explore the village, visit the Roman castle or taste the famous homemade ice creams.

Your next stop is Kalkan, another charming Mediterranean town known for its whitewashed houses, turquoise waters, and elegant rooftop restaurants overlooking the bay.

After breakfast, you’ll set sail and enjoy a swim break and lunch in Bayındır Harbor.

Dinner and your overnight stay will be either in Kalkan Harbor or the peaceful Firnaz Bay.

Once in Kalkan, you can go ashore to explore its vibrant town center, browse boutique shops, or simply enjoy the relaxed coastal atmosphere.

The day begins with an early departure toward Turunç Pınarı. Depending on the weather, you may stop at Butterfly Valley along the way for a swim or even a short trek.

Nestled at the foot of Babadag Mountain, the Butterfly Valley has been proposed as a world heritage conservation site. The valley takes its name from the beautiful “tiger butterfly,” a member of the Arctiidae family, which is most commonly seen from early June to late October. The area is also home to nearly all butterfly species found along the Mediterranean coast

Turunç Pınarı will be your anchorage for lunch.

Dinner and your final overnight stay will be in one of the bays near Fethiye Harbor.

After breakfast service on board, it’s time to disembark the yacht by 10:00. We’ll be there to assist you with anything you may need during your departure.
